The 1860 gold rush

We have been learning about the 1860's gold rush in NZ. I watched a video and had to answer some questions

1.The scenery looks like it was in the desert but it looked cold.

2. I think the boy was sad because he wanted his dad to come back from gold mining. Because he was missing him cause he hasn't seen him in a long time.

I learnt the gold rush was in the 1860's. I learnt that the Chinese came to NZ to go gold mining. a goldin nugget in the 1860's was worth $1.000 but now days its worth $110.000
