body percussion

Today in music class we had to make sounds with body percussion. It took a little bit to get a good beat but this is the link to the beat. We used drum stick a book to hit them with and a abacus and a beanbag.

Hero paragraph

A Hero is  person who is admired for their courage. These are the sports stars/heroes I chose: Sam Whitlock, Chelsea Bremner, Richie McCaw, Valarie Adams, Lebron James, Serena WIlliams.

I also made some slides about a local hero. I chose: Sir Tipone O’regan. He is well known for his role as the long serving chairman of Ngai Tahu. We read about a musical group that were heroes for one day because they performed for one day: Crowded house. We had to choose a hero we worship and I chose: Hulk. These are 8 heroes that helped after the 2011 earthquake: George Piper, James Baker, Richard Foot, Evan Mclelian, Zhinong Lu, Kent Hurford, Anja Hansen, Ken Edwards.

I wrote a story about myself as a Superhero. My Alias is: Benjamin

Each level is harder than the last, with obstacles starting at 1.5 metres above the ground that are suitable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels. This isn’t just a test of your physical skills - each obstacle can be conquered in different ways, so you’ll be stretching your brain as well. Challenges include the Indiana jump, crossed logs, barrels, wrecking balls, a commando flying fox and Tarzan jump.
