balancing

Today me and my class balancing on the playground. We made an optical cores  and had turns. The rules were no hands allowed only balancing if you used your hands your out its like the floor is lava. We had 2 turns each when it was my turn it was hard to balance 1 person made it through. i liked it because it was challenging i didn't like it because making it through the course.

straw rafts

In inquiry we are learning about the design process. The design process is where you plan,design and test a product or theory. Sometimes when you test it doesn't work  and you have to start at the beginning again to see how you would make it better. Mrs mcg gave us a challenge. We had to plan design+build a straw raft to float with 40g of weight on it we could only use 20 straws ad our raft failed 5 times because we didn´t put them in a state line.We did some research about how rafts float and we found that you need to have no gaps in your raft.We  found the challenging we didn´t get it done.

going on a bear hunt-maths directions

In maths we are learning about directions. We listened to the story going on a bear hunt. We picked out the obstetrical in the story. We then drew a map of the story. We had to carefuly think about the directions. Then we had to write  down the directions from the how to the cave we had to use north east south west.

the lorax

in Literacy we have been reading by Dr. Suess called The Lorax. We learnt all about the characters. We described The Lorax and The Once-ler. We wrote descriptions about the Once-ler. We compared the characters. We looked an what was the same and what was different about them.

coordinates

in maths we re learning about coordinates. We  learnt that you say the letter first then the number. Our map was about the story little red riding hood. We had to do 2 things. First we had to write down where the pictures are we write down the letter and number. Then we drawed the pictures on the bottom and couler them in.

pigeon impossible

 Today in literacy we watched pigeon impossible.We had a choice of 4 thing´s i did the wanted poster. in the poster we had to make a picture why they are wanted and the reward. I loved this because making the bird was challenging. The thing that was hard is the couler and border.

on monday we had to pea up i was with Arwen. we had to think of some think to act. We choose scooter ''I said i fell over! she said are you ok i said yes thank you she said no problem the end.
